Monster cupcake

He’s so cute it’s scary! This new Monster cupcake in Walt Disney World has stolen our hearts with his adorably ugly face and deliciously creamy center. Are you brave enough to eat this little monster?

Head over to Disney’s Contemporary Resort to find the purple fella. He’s hiding out in the Contempo Cafe for Halloween. You can mobile order this bad boy before you get there so he’ll be waiting for you to pick him up upon arrival.

Those googly eyes. The little chocolate horns! Those sharp fangs. Do you dare dig in? We did! And he was yummy.

The cake is funfetti flavor, with a candy bar custard hiding inside. Purple buttercream and fondant facial features create the monster that we now love. The overall taste is worth the trip here, with the custard adding a chocolatey edge to a mostly-vanilla cupcake. It’s rich and sweet enough to share, but thankfully the mound on top isn’t all frosting! That makes the whole thing a bit more balanced. Trust us, that custard will keep you from wanting a lot of frosting on this one. It’s a good size too, so the to-go container it comes in may be useful to you.

This monster is $5.99 before tax and can be used as a snack on the dining plan. Find him during Halloween season at Disney’s Contemporary Resort!
