If you love Harry Potter, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is definitely for you. From Diagon Alley to Hogwarts, the areas at Universal are so immersive. They are right out of the books. The food is also iconic. Take a look at all the fun spots you can grab your favorite Wizarding World treats and yummy food!
Breakfast
The Leaky Cauldron
Currently, the Leaky Cauldron is the only place serving breakfast at The Wizarding World. They serve a delicious breakfast daily until 10:30 AM. If you’re adventurous you can try a traditional English breakfast complete with beans and tomatoes. They do have a pancake meal or a traditional American breakfast as well.
The Three Broomsticks
Since the parks reopened last June The Three Broomsticks hasn’t served their breakfast options.
Lunch/Dinner
The Leaky Cauldron
Both The Leaky Cauldron and The Three Broomsticks have a decent menu for lunch and dinner. Most of the meals are hearty and resemble English Pub food. Pictured above at the Leaky Cauldron is Toad in the Hole. One of my favorites is the Shepard’s Pie.
The Three Broomsticks
The fish and chips is always a popular option. You can also get it in kids size and it comes with a drink.
London Taxi Cart – Diagon Alley
If you’re in a hurry and don’t want a sit-down restaurant there’s a cart in the London area which sells hearty baked potatoes or you can get beef pasties at The Hopping Pot inside Diagon Alley.
Beverages
Butterbeer is a staple of The Wizarding World. You can get this delicious beverage in a couple different forms: cold, frozen, and hot. Hot is seasonal but probably my favorite out of the three.
Where to get Butterbeer
Diagon Alley – Leaky Cauldron, The Hopping Pot, The Fountain of Fair Fortune
Hogsmeade – Three Broomsticks, Hog’s Head, Street Carts
Butterbeer isn’t the only popular drink in the Wizarding World. You can also buy Pumpkin Juice, Green Fishy Ale, or Otter’s Fizzy Orange Juice.
Alcoholic Beverages
Most of your alcoholic beverages can be found at The Hogs Head in Hogsmeade or Fountain of Fair Fortune and The Hopping Pot in Diagon Alley. You can also be served with lunch at both Quick service locations. You must be 21 or older.
Treats
Honeydukes
If you plan on visiting Hogsmeade than Honeydukes is a must! It’s so colorful and fun, plus it smells amazing! It has all your favorite Wizarding World candies and treats inside! You can purchase Chocolate Frogs, Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans, Peppermint Toads, and so much more. The music also sets the tone. It’s so fun to go in and explore. They have a case for some extra treats like Butterbeer Fudge or Honeydukes Cupcakes.
Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop
Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop is the Honeyduke’s of Diagon Alley. You can find everything to satisfy your sweet tooth there!
Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour
Florean Fortescue’s Ice-Cream Parlour sells amazing hard-packed and soft-serve ice cream. You can get it in a cone or in a cute souvenir cup. If you want to be like Harry Potter order the Strawberry and Peanut Butter like he did in the books. My personal favorite is Earl Grey & Lavender but you can also buy Butterbeer flavored.
