The Mandalorian’s Temuera Morrison to Take on Several Roles in New ‘Star Wars’ Series. The second season of The Mandalorian has seen the return of Boba Fett in the Star Wars Universe. The iconic bounty hunter is played by Temuera Morrison and it appears that Morrison may become one of the most reoccurring live-action actors in future Star Wars projects.

According to a recent report by Kessel Run Transmissions, Temuera Morrison is rumored to appear as Commander Cody in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series coming to Disney+.

Commander Cody was one of the Clone Troopers featured in the animated Star Wars series, The Clone Wars. Currently, the only confirmed returns for the Kenobi series include Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan and Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi series would not be the only series that Temuera may be joining. We already know he is set to star in his own Boba Fett series for Disney+, but there is a very high chance Temuera will also join the cast of Ahsoka, potentially as Captain Rex, and in the Rangers of the New Republic series.

It should be noted, none of the appearances outside of The Mandalorian and the untiled Boba Fett series have been confirmed by Lucasfilm, but due to the potential use of other characters from the animated series and given the timelines of the new shows, it would make sense that Lucasfilm would utilize Morrison as a solid casting choice for the new series to maintain the appearances of the Clone Troopers throughout the remnants of the Empire as well as in the New Republic.

At the very least, this is an excellent case of job security for Temuera and we are so excited to see him back in action. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for updates and all things Star Wars!
