Star Wars ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3 Premiere Date Announced

Star Wars ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3 Premiere Date Announced. During The Walt Disney Company Investor Day 2020 we learned about dozens of confirmed and new titles coming to Disney, Pixar, Lucasfilm, Marvel Studios, Disney+, National Geographic and more. Some announcements made during the event included many new titles coming to the Star Wars Universe, with several titles premiering next year!

Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy shared that not one, not two, but three Star Wars series will be ready to premiere by “Christmas 2021.” The three series in question include The Mandalorian Season 3, and the premiere of two new series, Ahsoka and Rangers of the New Republic. Reportedly, these three series will have interconnecting stories and characters, occurring during the same time in the Star Wars timeline.

It is unclear if Kennedy meant the series or new season will premiere on Christmas Day, or merely during the holiday season as is traditional for The Mandalorian series.

Currently, season 1 and 2 of The Mandalorian are streaming on Disney+, with the season 2 finale set to premiere this Friday, December 18th. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for updates for all things Star Wars!
