‘The Mandalorian’ Season 2 Release Will NOT Be Delayed. During an interview with CNBC, newly appointed Disney CEO Bob Chapek shared that “there will be no delay on Mandalorian” and the series is still expected to premiere on Disney+ in October 2020.

The series finished filming back in February 2020 and is currently being edited at home thanks to the dedicated VFX artists and editors at Lucasfilm. Disney also recently ordered a third season of the mega-popular Star Wars series, which will likely premiere on Disney+ in October 2021, similarly to how the first two seasons were released via the new streaming service.
