The World Showcase at Epcot is well known for being alive with culture, food, and entertainment, including music. Just as the world continues to evolve so does the World Showcase. Yesterday, Walt Disney World Resort confirmed the latest change coming to Epcot would be a musical one. Coming in April, Epcot will have a musical line up change at the Canada pavilion. The band, Suroît is returning to Epcot with performances beginning April 17, 2019.
Suroît, from the Magdalen Islands in eastern Quebec, has been entertaining audiences for four decades. Their unique sound includes influences from rock, bluegrass, Cajun, and Celtic genres.
Suroît will be performing in place of the Montreal based quartet Raffy with performances on the stage just outside the entrance to the Canada pavilion. Raffy will continue to take the stage with daily performances until April 14.
While the performance schedule has not been announced at this time, guests are accustomed to enjoying several shorter performances from the musical acts on this stage several times a day. Stay tuned for updates on all of the changes coming to Epcot, including the new nighttime spectacular replacing IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.
