‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier‘ Director Teased the Series Villains may be “Non-Human”. Marvel Fans are gearing up for the premiere of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier this Friday March 19th on Disney+! In the intermediate time, Director Kari Skogland may have let slip that the mysterious new group of villains, under the direction of Baron Zemo, may not be as human as they appear in the trailers.
Skogland teased fans during an interview with The Direct, saying: “Well, like with anything you have you cherry-pick how much time you’re going to spend with them. I think also villains in general have a big concept behind them. What I do love is that in all of the cases we’re able to spend a little bit more time with them and get to know them and understand them a bit better.”
She added, “So as humans, or not humans as the case may be, whatever, we understand their motives a bit more. That makes for nuanced, and I’d like to say trickier grey zones. No one’s all bad, but no one’s all good. So it’s the exploration of where that takes you.”
Marvel Studios’ “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” debuts a new trailer today, ramping up the excitement for Friday’s debut of the new original series on Disney+. All eyes are on the shield, as Sam Wilson aka The Falcon, and Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier decide to team up—or rather, work together—when a new global threat launches them into an unexpected mission that may hit too close to home.
Check out the final trailer for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier in the video posted below and get ready to stream the first of six episodes this Friday, March 19th:
