The Donut Box has reopened in Epcot and has some amazing new flavors. We spent our Sunday strolling around the Food and Wine Festival trying some of the delicious food booths and this was a favorite. Unfortunately, this booth is open only on weekends right now so if you want these delicious donuts make those park passes for a weekend.
The menu for the Donut Box isn’t very large but it allowed us to try all three of the Donut Holes available. Each order comes with five large donut holes for $4.00.
The Sprinkle Burst Donut Holes with Purple Frosting
The Sprinkle Burst Donut Holes With Purple Frosting were the first ones we tried. They had like a Funfetti Cake vibe inside. The purple frosting wasn’t as overwhelming as I thought it would be. This would be a fun choice for kids with the colors and sprinkles.
Double-Chocolate Donut Hole with Chocolate Drizzle
The second donut hole we tried was the Double-Chocolate Donut Hole With Chocolate Drizzle. This was probably the least favorite of the three. It was still delicious just the least favorite out of the three. I would probably enjoy more with out the drizzle on top.
Apple Fritter Donut Hole with Salted Maple Drizzle
The absolute favorite of the day were the Apple Fritter Donut Holes with Salted Maple Drizzle. These were absolutely amazing! The inside has little bits of apple and weren’t dry. The maple glaze was so good and really went well with the apple fritter. I would order these again without a doubt.
We are glad to see The Donut Box return. It was a favorite last year and is just as delicious this year. Even though the menu is smaller there is still different choices for your party. With these being $4.00 each I recommend going ahead and trying them all. They are filling though so make sure you bring your family to share, or bring some home.
