There’s no shortage of great snacks in Walt Disney World, though some are more notable than others. In the Magic Kingdom, for example, those in the know don’t only eat Dole Whips, they also pick up a Cheshire Cat Tail. These classic treats have been missing since the parks reopened, but luckily, they are finally back!
Previously, guests would get their Cheshire Cat Tails at the aptly named Cheshire Cat Cafe, which sits at the border of Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. Now, they will not be found at the open window, but instead, they are inside Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe. Available on the mobile order menu, they cost $5.49 each.
The Cheshire Cat Tail is a not-so-hidden gem in terms of Disney snacks. A flaky, twisty pastry, filled with chocolate chips and covered in icing that is Cheshire Cat’s signature purple and pink, it’s a portable sweet treat that ticks a lot of boxes. It goes well with a frozen drink while waiting in line for the Mad Teacups (if you have a strong stomach). However, now guests may want to take advantage of its location to eat a meal out of the heat and listen to Cosmic Ray’s show inside the restaurant.
If you’ve been missing this delicious Disney treat, hurry over to Cosmic Ray’s during your next Magic Kingdom reservation. Don’t forget to take some bright and beautiful photos for Instagram either, because the Cheshire Cat Tail is as beautiful as it is tasty!
