Taika Waititi Has Signed on to Direct Disney’s ‘Tower of Terror’ Starring Scarlett Johansson. The fate of the Tower of Terror reboot film has been filled with up’s and down’s much like the actual attraction itself. Fans were severely disappointed when the film was initially thought to be dead on arrival after negotiations went sour during the Johansson vs. Disney lawsuit earlier this year. Now that a settlement has been reached, Disney proudly shared the return of Johannsson as the producer and star of Tower of Terror, as well as promises for more work together in the future as Scarlett continues to grow her career in producing.

The news of Waititi’s involvement comes from The DisInsider and seems a natural fit given Scarlett and Taika’s time with Marvel Studios and knack for storytelling, with this being the first collaborative piece between the two Marvel Alum.
