The holidays have hit the Disney World parks in a big way. We have been bringing you photos of Christmas decorations already up in Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios and that the Main Street Confectionery has its holiday treats out on display. Well Hollywood Studios can’t be out done for long. We now have a look at all of the amazing holiday foods coming our way starting November 5!
First up is are the holiday cookies and gingerbread pops. You can find these sweet treats at various locations throughout Hollywood Studios. And of course you need a “Prep and Landing”-themed gingerbread cupcake to go with the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! nighttime spectacular where these cute elves are featured. You can find these cupcakes at The Trolley Car Cafe, Sweet Spells, Catalina Eddie’s, Rosie’s All-American Cafe, and the ABC Commissary.
You can’t have the holidays without a cup of hot cocoa (even if you are in Florida). Guests of all ages can enjoy classic hot cocoa with marshmallows at ABC Commissary, Backlot Express, PizzeRizzo, Rosie’s All-American Café, Catalina Eddie’s, Fairfax Fare, and Min and Bill’s Dockside Diner.
If you are part of the over 21 crowd and looking for something that might put you on the “naughty list” then head over to Min and Bill’s Dockside Diner and Fairfax Fare. There you can try a hot chocolate martini, Bailey’s Salted Caramel hot chocolate, black cherry bourbon hot chocolate, and a hot chocolate flight where you can sample all three!
More adult beverages being offered include a Peppermint White Russian, a Winterberry Cooler and a Let It Glow drink. The Let It Glow beverage is made with vodka and blue-raspberry frozen carbonated beverage topped with a glow cube! You can find it all around Echo Lake and Sunset Boulevard.
Next up on our holiday culinary tour of Hollywood Studios is …. a Christmas tree of course! These adorable treats are decadent red velvet whoopie pies decorated with icing garland, ornament pearls, and holiday sprinkles. You can find them at Sweet Spells and Fairfax Fare.
Another must-try is the apple cranberry cobbler at Hollywood Scoops and Min and Bill’s Dockside Diner.
What is it about mixing sweet and savory flavors that just hits the spot? Hollywood Studios has a festive holiday popcorn mix at popcorn carts throughout the park. This popcorn comes with marshmallows, pretzels and M&M’s and is drizzled with chocolate.
What is winter without our favorite snowman Olaf! You can find his special cupcake at ABC Commissary, Rosie’s All-American Café, Catalina Eddie’s, Fairfax Fare and Sweet Spells. You’ll also find an Olaf Pop at Gertie’s Ice Cream of Extinction, an Olaf Sundae at Hollywood Scoops, and Sugar Frosted Fruit Bites at Pretzel Palooza. Last but not least, be on the look out for an Olaf-themed sipper that comes filled with a fun “Frozen” beverage…it’s worth melting for!
We can’t talk about all of these sweet treats without mentioning the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Holiday Dessert Party. You’ll indulge in a jolly spread of specialty sweets and sips before settling in to watch a Santa-sized spectacular. You’ll enjoy the all-new Disney Movie Magic show and Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!, a holiday spectacular hosted by the elves Wayne and Lanny from “Prep and Landing” from a reserved viewing area.
Among the desserts offered are candy cane brownies, holiday Mickey and Minnie sugar cookies, warm pumpkin pie spiced bread pudding, and sweet Yule Log.
