The well-known sound of the Imperial March will soon be filling the air in Los Angeles. Next week, audiences will get to enjoy Star Wars Live in Concert. This will be the first time that the film is shown with a live score in L.A.
The Hollywood Bowl is a venue which hosts movie and music nights throughout the summer. Envision watching one of your favorite classic movies, while a live orchestra performs the original score. Audiences can enjoy the weather, the stars, the movie and the music all at once.
August 7 and 10th at 8:00 PM, concert-goers will be able to enjoy Star Wars: A New Hope. The following week, on August 9th and 11th at 8:00 PM, attendees will get to enjoy Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. The concerts will all be orchestrated by David Newman, an Oscar-nominated composer.
Be sure to arrive early on August 7th, 9th, and 10th so you can get a free lightsaber (one per person while supplies last)! And of course, “All Jedi are encouraged to show up in costume”.
You can buy tickets for Star Wars Live here.
