The jump to lightspeed is back! Hyperspace Mountain has officially reclaimed Space Mountain at Disneyland Park for 2026. This fan-favorite Star Wars overlay is only here for a limited engagement, so grab your boarding pass before it disappears back into the galaxy.

Building on the momentum of last year’s technical upgrades, Hyperspace Mountain is back in action with its enhanced visual effects. While the official “Season of the Force” branding is sitting this mission out, Disneyland isn’t leaving fans in the dark; a specialized lineup of Star Wars offerings will still take over the park this spring to celebrate the season of May the 4th.

The winds of change are blowing through Black Spire Outpost. Beginning later this month, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will officially shift its timeline, allowing iconic characters from the original trilogy to wander the land for the first time. The immersive expansion is also seeing a physical refresh: both Oga’s Cantina and Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities have debuted new updates, while First Order Cargo is being reimagined as Black Spire Surplus.

The excitement peaks on May 22, 2026, with a dual-threat premiere. As The Mandalorian and Grogu hits theaters, a brand-new Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run mission based on the film will debut at Disneyland, giving guests the chance to pilot the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy alongside Mando and the Child.
