Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will open May 31, 2019, at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California, and Aug. 29, 2019, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. At 14 acres each, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be Disney’s largest single-themed land expansions ever, transporting guests to live their own Star Wars adventures in Black Spire Outpost, a village on the remote planet of Batuu, full of unique sights, sounds, smells and tastes. Guests can become part of the story as they sample galactic food and beverages, explore an intriguing collection of merchant shops and take the controls of the most famous ship in the galaxy aboard Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.

Inside Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Disney guests will take the controls in one of three unique and critical roles aboard the fastest ship in the galaxy.

Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will feature rare items from across the galaxy for sale, all part of Dok-Ondar’s collection. Items will represent different eras of the Star Wars galaxy, including holocrons, ancient Jedi and Sith artifacts, lightsabers and more. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will open May 31, 2019, at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California and Aug. 29, 2019, at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Exotic eats from around the galaxy will be available at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge when it opens May 31, 2019, at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California, and Aug. 29, 2019, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Ronto Roasters will feature savory meats spit-roasted over a former Podracer engine.

Millennium Falcon is pictured under development for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Stars Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. On Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, guests will take the controls of one of the most recognizable ships in the galaxy.

Exotic finds can be found throughout Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. In the Droid Depot at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, guests will be able to build their own personal droids.

Oga’s Cantina is a local watering hole to unwind, conduct business and maybe even encounter a friend or a foe. Patrons of the cantina come from across the galaxy to sample the famous concoctions created with exotic ingredients using ‘otherworldly’ methods, served in unique vessels, with choices for kids and libations for adults. Oga’s Cantina opens its doors at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge May 31, 2019, at Disneyland Resort in California and Aug. 29, 2019, at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

The famous “chess room” is one of several areas Disney guests will discover inside Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at SW:GE before taking the controls in one of three unique and critical roles aboard the fastest ship in the galaxy.

We sure can’t wait to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge when it opens, but these images do help us get the feel for what we can expect once we travel a long time ago, to a galaxy far, far away.
