Star Wars: The Force Awakens brought fans a whole new journey with Rey, Poe, Finn and the return of Luke Skywalker. Heart stopping scenes and surprises had this Entertainment Reporter glued to her seat. Imagine our excitement over the news that Star Wars: Episode VIII has begun principal photograghy production at their Pinewood Studios in London today. While still a long, long wait until the projected theater release, December 15, 2017, the start of production means that things are moving forward and trailers, releases and film updates will be coming our way.
Star Wars: Episode VIII continues where The Force Awakens left off. Bringing back Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie and Andy Serkis. Episode VIII will also add new cast members including Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern and newcomer Kelly Marie Tran.
Under the production of Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman and executive producers, J.J. Abrams, Jason McGatlin and Tom Karnowski. Along with the talents of Pippa Anderson (Co-Producer, VP Post Production), Neal Scanlan (Creature & Droid FX Creative Supervisor), Michael Kaplan (Costume Designer), Jamie Wilkinson (Prop Master), Chris Corbould (SFX Supervisor), Rob Inch (Stunt Coordinator), Ben Morris (VFX Supervisor), Nina Gold (UK Casting Director), Steve Yedlin (Director of Photography), Bob Ducsay (Editor), Rick Heinrichs (Production Design), Peter Swords King (Hair and Make-up)
