Yesterday evening guests were evacuated from Splash Mountain due to their boat sinking.
Twitter user @skyelaringrsoll posted the following video after stepping out of the boat…

According to her tweet, Disney Cast Members allegedly told Guests to stay in the sinking ride vehicle, but they did not listen and stepped out of the vehicle as it took on water.

What caused the Splash Mountain ride vehicle to take on water is unknown at this time and other than when the tweets were posted we are uncertain what time the incident occurred. The video was uploaded at 1:00am EST.
Earlier last week Splash Mountain closed down for repairs but was opened just a few days later.
