Sony's 'Morbius' Earns Lowest Rating Ever for a Marvel Movie on Rotten Tomatoes

Critics agree that Sony’s ‘Morbius‘ starring Jared Leto is a letdown. The movie was plagued with delays and many critics cited the film was lackluster, borderline ableist, and tried too hard to establish a separate franchise featuring a villain from the Spider-Verse. It should be noted that the performances of the actors and actresses involved in the film were barely mentioned in most reviews, and the chief complaint among critics and audience reviews was that the story itself lacked substance.

At the time of writing, Morbius has earned a morbid 17% rating by critics and a 67% rating by audiences. The critic rating of 17% is the lowest critic rating to date for any Marvel-related movie title.

While at first it seems to be a radical success, a darkness inside him is unleashed. Will good override evil — or will Morbius succumb to his mysterious new urges?
