Sony Casts Aaron Taylor-Johnson as ‘Kraven the Hunter’ For Upcoming Marvel Movie. In an unpredictable move, Sony Pictures has cast Avengers: Age of Ultron Star Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Kraven for their upcoming solo Marvel movie Kraven the Hunter. Though there is no doubting Aaron’s ability to be a leading man, the casting choice seems to put the final nail in the coffin for fans hoping to see his return as Quicksilver in the MCU as we venture into the Multiverse.
Sony had previously offered the role to Keanu Reeves, but given the fact that Reeves has been in talks with Marvel Studios for year regarding a large role in the MCU it’s unsurprising that Keanu has decided to declined Sony’s casting invitation. There have been rumors for months that Kraven The Hunter will involve Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, but that has yet to be confirmed by Marvel Studios or Sony Pictures. Rumors also sited Kraven’s debut was intended for the upcoming Marvel Studios film, Spider-Man: No Way Home, but much like the other rumors, has yet to be confirmed by the studios.
As we dive into the multiverse there are nearly endless possibilities at how the stories will play out, but we are very excited to see where the future of the MCU and Sony Spider-Man franchise films go. This is a developing story, so be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for updates and all things Marvel!
