Disney’s Hollywood Studios has another new set of themed solar-powered trash and recycling cans, this time featuring one of the park’s most recognizable landmarks, the Chinese Theatre.

The green cans have been spotted near the park entrance and inside Hollywood Studios, each featuring a “Please Help Keep Our City Clean” emblem with an image of the Chinese Theatre. One pair sits near the entrance tapstiles, while another frames the park information sign where guests can check hours and showtimes.
The solar panels built into the tops of the cans power internal trash compactors, allowing them to hold more waste before needing to be emptied. Guests can use the foot pedals to open the cans or pull the flaps open by hand. Disney has continued rolling out these new solar-powered cans across Walt Disney World after they first debuted at EPCOT earlier this year, with versions now appearing at Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The Chinese Theatre design joins the recently added Sorcerer Mickey version found in Animation Courtyard, giving the otherwise practical cans a little extra Hollywood Studios personality. Walt Disney Imagineering worked on the themed designs as Disney continues expanding the solar-powered cans around the resort.
