“The Music of Pixar Live! A Symphony of Characters” will make its debut tomorrow May 26. Chip and Company was invited to the media preview event so we could bring you all the details. We’ve also included a sneak peak video of the event at the end of this article.
The Music of Pixar is a philharmonic retrospective highlighting Pixar’s most memorable music. Some of the songs include soundtrack favorites from Cars, Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Up, and Monsters, Inc. all played by a live orchestra.
Characters will be in attendance at each show to bring a little fun to the event. Some of them will include Mike, Sully, Doug, Carl, Woody, Jessie, Buzz, and Mr. and Mrs. Incredible!
This show will be presented three times nightly following the regular daily performances of “Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage”.
During the concert, video clips will be shown that shed light on the creative process of Pixar filmmakers and composers collaborating.
The show will end with a sing-a-long to Randy Newman’s “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” with all of the Pixar characters in attendance.
This event will be performed nightly at the Theater of the Stars at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The show will last about 45 minutes and it’s recommended that you show up early because seating is limited.
Here is that video preview I promised you!
This show looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun! There is something for every age to enjoy. Will you be adding this to your Hollywood Studios to-do list on your next visit?
