Pixar Fest is blasting into Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure Park this Spring. For a limited time beginning April 13th through September 3rd, 2018, timeless characters from your favorite Pixar films will be taking over the parks. It will be a new spectacular celebration that brings to life characters from Pixar films like “Toy Story,” “The Incredibles,” “Monsters, Inc,” and more.
Returning are two fan-favorite parades “Paint the Night” parade and “Pixar Play” parade, celebrating friendship with Pixar friends. A spectacular new one of a kind firework show “Together Forever- A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular” will also make its debut.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there. There are also a range of delicious Pixar-themed goodies that will be on offer throughout Disneyland Resort. Here are a look at some of our favorites:
We can’t think of a better way to celebrate all things Pixar than with this colorful celebration cake inspired by and topped with Pixar’s iconic ball. You’ll find this at the Plaza Inn at Disneyland theme park.
This Berry Funnel Cake topped with whipped cream, strawberries, blueberries and chocolate cookie is the perfect decadent treat and you can find it at the Golden Horshoe.
If you prefer your treats on the savory side pop over to Tomorrowland in Disneyland for this Green Pesto Pasta dish.
These cake pops featuring Dory and Nemo are the perfect wee treat as you’re roaming the parks.
The Cove Bar, a popular Paradise Pier hangout will be returning as part of Pixar Pier as the Lamplight Lounge which will officially open in June. This Tuna Poke is just one of the dishes you’ll find at this revamped eatery.
Deviled Eggs on Toast are another contemporary take on a classic dish that you’ll find at the Lamplight Lounge.
That’s not a snake in your boot! Rather its a root beer float served in one of Woody’s Boots providing the perfect take-home souvenir. Head on over to Golden Horshoe to bag this boot while supplies last!
For a walk on the gourmet side, dive into this delciou shrimp ratatouille drawing its inspiration from the culinary talents of Remy. You’ll find this savory dish as part of a three-course meal at Cafe Orleans.
What would a festival be at Disneyland without some specially-themed churros? During Pixar Fest be on the lookout for this strawberry-flavored take on the this classic theme park treat.
For something truely innovative be sure to stop by Lucky Fortune Cookie and order up these”Monsters, Inc.”-inspired color changing noodles.
The Hungry Bear at Disneyland theme park is also doing their own version of the Berry Funnel Cake and we think it looks mightly delicious!
Fans of a good charcuterie will enjoy this delcious plate starter being served up at Cafe Orleans during the Fest.
For those wanting to keep things traditional, check out the Fried Balogna Sandwich available at Carnation Cafe at Disneyland Resort.
Speaking of traditional, you can also opt for this Pork Chop TV dinner also at Carnation Cafe.
Churro fans will also want to head over to Frontierland for this delcious coco flavored treat!
This are just a small handful of the amazing treats you’ll find at Disneyland Resort during Pixar Fest where Pixar-themed food stands and kiosks will get their inspiration from much-loved films like “UP,” Toy Story,” “Coco,” “Ratatouille,” “Finding Nemo,” “Monsters, Inc,” and “Inside Out.”
Readers are encouraged to keep following along with Chip and Co. for the lastes in Pixar Fest news and updates.
