As always, nothing is official until confirmed by Disney but tonight when I was looking into the new parking fees on the Disney World website, I noticed that they were no longer listed. As you may recall, Disney announced yesterday that as of March 21, they will begin charging Guests staying at Disney World Resort Hotels a fee to park each night of their stay. Guests who book their visit prior to March 21 or have already booked a visit were exempt from paying the fees.
This is what was posted yesterday:
And, this is what shows now on the Disney World website:
The internet has been all abuzz ever since the announcement was made yesterday to begin charging for overnight parking. As you can imagine, many Guests were not fans of the change. Several took to social media, email, and called Disney directly to voice their disapproval of the new fee.
As I mentioned above, this is not official by Disney at this time. As soon as we have any additional we will pass it along.
