Sign Removed From Big Top Souvenirs in the Magic Kingdom. We previously have reported on all the construction along with refurbishments going on at Storybook Circus. Including, Casey Jr’s getting a fresh coat of paint, Pete’s Silly Sideshow Tent getting some TLC along with, Dumbo the Flying Elephant being cleaned up. All this is in preparation for “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary.
We are not happy to report to you all that it looks like Big Top Souvenirs is getting some work done, in hopes of it reopening soon. The sign out front has been removed now. Importantly, you can see the image below how it looked prior to how it looks today.
Storybook Circus is home to BTS along with Casey Jr Splash and Soak Station. In addition to a stop on the Walt Disney Railroad, when that is in operations. Not only is Dumbo the Flying Elephant located in Storybook Circus, but also Barnstormer.
Big Top Souvenirs shut down 2 years ago when a major flood caused flooring damage, and it had only been open a little while before the pandemic hit. Shutting it back down, when the rest of the park closed. It has not reopened yet.
Disney World 50th Anniversary
Beginning Oct. 1, Walt Disney World Resort will throw “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” in honor of our 50th anniversary, bringing new experiences to our four theme parks and beyond. This milestone is such a big deal, we’ve even coined a new word – “EARidescence” – to describe what you’ll see when you visit. Our Disney teams are creating all sorts of new decorations that will shimmer and sparkle all day and into the night.
