The sign for Ariel’s Grotto sign was pulled down back in July as part of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary refurbishment of many rides and attractions in the Magic Kingdom.

Sign for Ariel's Grotto Character Meet has been added back!

However, while visiting the Magic Kingdom we noticed that the sign for Ariel’s Grotto Character Meet has been installed once again! This makes us wonder if Character Meets will be returning soon to the Disney World Theme Parks..?

What we do know is many Character Meet and Greets are still unavailable to guests. Here is a current list just at the Magic Kingdom:

While Character Meets are still off the table at Disney World there are still ways to see some of your favorite Disney Characters such as Character Cavalcades, and socially distanced meets.

As of right now there are no plans for Character Meet & Greets to return to Walt Disney World, we are hopeful they will be returning very soon!
