Scaffolding has been erected on Splash Mountain as crews prepare to do some work on this fan-favorite attraction.
We didn’t see any team members working on Splash Mountain this morning and the ride is in operation, just not opened yet.

One lone Cast Member was riding the attraction as we walked by.
The Disney World website shows that it is Temporarily Closed at 10:45 am.

Disney was supposed to close Splash Mountain sometime this year for the Princess & the Frog attraction retheme but we have not heard any more details other than the official announcement.
Reports online are they are updating some foliage for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration.
