Universal Studios Florida Archway Refurbishment Expands as Entrance Refresh Continues

The iconic Universal Studios Florida archway is getting a little more behind-the-scenes attention as refurbishment work continues at the park’s main entrance. According to photos from bioreconstruct, construction walls that were first spotted last week have now expanded across more of the front entry area, signaling that Universal’s entrance refresh is still rolling along like a blockbuster with one more scene to shoot.

The walls were previously located around the first two entry points on the right side of the archway. They have now stretched in front of several openings, with the far left side remaining clear. Even with the expanded walls in place, the main Universal Studios Florida archway and the smaller side archways remain open for guests entering and exiting the park.

This work follows other recent updates to the Universal Studios Florida entrance area. Earlier this year, the exit, ticket booths, and entrance buildings were repainted. The buildings, which were previously pink, now feature a white and brown color scheme. The main entrance archway is expected to receive a similar look as part of the ongoing refurbishment.

While construction walls are never the most glamorous park photo backdrop, this project should give the front of Universal Studios Florida a cleaner, refreshed arrival moment once the work is complete.
