Disneyland Resort is gearing up for an unforgettable summer 2026 by introducing a lineup of limited-time activities, highlighted by an incredible complimentary Star Wars experience for younger guests at Savi’s Workshop inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Starting May 22 for a limited time, travelers visiting Black Spire Outpost can participate in the all-new Youngling Saber Building Expo – A Loth-Cat Crew Experience, hosted right inside Savi’s Workshop. Tailored specifically for younglings ages 3 to 9 (who must be accompanied by an adult), this interactive adventure invites kids and their families to build a lightsaber together and officially join the ranks of the Loth-Cat Crew.
While the hands-on building experience itself is completely complimentary, guests should keep in mind that a lightsaber is not included to take home for free. Instead, families will have the exclusive option to purchase their custom creation at the conclusion of the activity if they wish to keep it.
While Savi’s Workshop is traditionally famous for its premium, immersive lightsaber-building experience, that journey comes with a hefty price tag that might not fit every family’s budget. This special, limited-time youngling activity provides the perfect alternative, giving families a rare opportunity to step inside the hidden workshop and experience the magic without requiring an upfront financial commitment.
