Tiffins Restaurant Debuts New Menu for 10th Anniversary

For the past decade, Tiffins Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom has stood as a beacon for adventurous diners, offering an upscale culinary journey inspired by world travel, global exploration, and the spirit of discovery. To celebrate this milestone 10th anniversary, the talented Disney culinary team has unveiled a collection of fresh, vibrant new flavors that honor the restaurant’s legacy while elevating the dining experience to delicious new heights.

From beautifully plated appetizers to rich entrees and showstopping desserts, these new additions are designed to transport guests across the globe without ever leaving Discovery Island. Here is a look at the spectacular new flavors debuting at Tiffins Restaurant.

The anniversary menu brings several innovative appetizers to the table, blending authentic global spices with a modern twist.

• Korean Barbecue Pork Belly Bao Buns
• Featuring melt-in-your-mouth pork with pickled cucumber and green papaya slaw, the flavors are immediate and a great start to your feast. 
• Gobi Manchurian
• For a vegetarian option, we recommend the Gobi Manchurian, which includes crispy-fried cauliflower florets tossed in a slightly sweet and tangy sauce. 

The heart of the new menu showcases a masterful balance of rich proteins and complex flavor profiles, drawing inspiration from Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

• Regional Curry Tasting
• This dish is a showstopper not only in taste, but also in presentation. Brought to you in a tiffin, the restaurant’s namesake, it’s slowly unveiled by the servers at Tiffins Restaurant to reveal the three portions of this meal in the shape of a hidden Mickey. For this tasting of South Asian curries, we received Thai Green Curry and Indian Red Curry with a side of Jasmine Rice.
• Shrimp & Grits
• For a comforting dish, we recommend the Shrimp & Grits for a savory meal packed with flavor. The Peri Peri shrimp is served with a South African mealie pap with roasted corn, goat cheese, and green apple chutney.
• If you’d like a wine to accompany this plate, we recommend the Raats Original Unoaked Chenin Blanc, which is a crisp white wine that nicely complements different elements of this meal.
• Butter Chicken
• The colorful plating is a feast for the eyes, and the creamy, tomato-based sauce adds a nice richness to the chicken. It also comes with a samosa, which rounds out the meal perfectly. 

Caramel Flan

A flan for the ages. This velvety, rich caramel custard is paired with a vanilla Chantilly and goes great with a cup of Joffrey’s coffee. 

African Pot De Crème

A decadent, rich dessert for all the chocolate lovers. This chocolate pot de crème is infused with Ethiopian coffee, Ras el Hanout pineapple, pistachio, and topped with a chocolate cookie.

Celebrating a milestone this year too, Nomad Lounge neighbors Tiffins Restaurant and is also hitting the 10-year milestone. Plus, they have new menu items to ring in the festivities! 

The refreshed Nomad Lounge menu features small plates designed for sharing, pairing perfectly with a relaxing break along Discovery River: 

• Charcuterie and Cheese Board: Chef’s selection of assorted meats, cheeses, and accompaniments 
• Crispy Chicken Wings
• The Traveller’s Provisions: A collection of flavors gathered from distant bazaars and remote outposts; warm onion naan bread paired with a trio of globally-inspired dips: roasted garlic hummus, roasted eggplant and beetroot spread, roasted red pepper and walnut muhammara 
• Wild Mushroom Dumplings
• Churros
• Grilled Beef Kefta
• Sticky Pork Ribs

In addition to these delicious small plates, you can also find a lovely beverage to pair with them, like the Lychee-Ginger Lemonade and The Pachyderm and The Pollinator.
