Sabrina Carpenter Cast as Alice in ‘Alice in Wonderland‘ Musical Coming to Netflix. A musical adaption of Alice in Wonderland is in development at Netflix and the popular streaming service just announced Disney Channel star and Musician Sabrina Carpenter as their new Alice!

Sabrina Carpenter made her big break on Disney Channel’s Girl Meets World as Riley’s best friend Maya and has gone on to be a top charting musician while maintaining a successful acting career in the process. Carpenter is currently gearing up for the premiere of her latest film, Clouds, which is set to premiere exclusively on Disney+ on October 16th.

Confirmation of the new musical came from the verified Netflix Film account via Twitter with a photo of Sabrina along with the caption, “*looks into rabbit hole* Falls into a new [Sabrina Carpenter] musical! ALICE, a modern musical reimagining of ALICE IN WONDERLAND, is in the works at Netflix. And yes, the WORK IT lead, Broadway performer & singer will both star and produce.”
