Ryan Reynolds is training for Deadpool 3!
A recent Instagram post made by Don Saladino, who has trained several Marvel actors, revealed that Ryan Reynolds is back in the gym and is getting ready to play Deadpool again.
While this doesn’t confirm any sort of timeline for Deadpool 3, Ryan Reynolds simply being back in the gym for his role as Wade Wilson is enough to excite Marvel fans.
During Marvel Studios’ San Diego Comic Con 2022 presentation, no Deadpool 3 release date was revealed. It was announced that production on the movie was set to begin soon, but no set schedule was shared either. However, it seems possible we may hear an update next month at D23 in Anaheim!

A few months ago, leading actor and producer Ryan Reynolds shared a few updates regarding the future film. First, he confirms Blind Al actress Leslie Uggams is coming back for third Deadpool movie. The Merc With The Mouth himself announced how Marvel Studios’ Deadpool 3 has found a director! Shawn Levy will reteam with Ryan Reynolds again after Free Guy by working as the director of the third installment of Deadpool.
Due to Marvel’s well-known security protocols regarding future projects, Reynolds couldn’t really comment on the story’s progression but did share that the movie is still a go. Kevin Feige did confirm the movie will have an R rating and allow Ryan to play Wade Wilson again.
