In a surprising social media post, Ryan Reynolds confirms the return of a cast member for Deadpool 3.
Reynolds is currently the only cast member attached to the project, although co-stars like Morena Baccarin and Zazie Beetz have expressed their desire to return to the fold. Now, that changes thanks to Reynolds potentially announcing the first actor to officially join the cast – one which many didn’t see coming, including Blind Al herself.
The following tweet from Ryan Reynolds seems to confirm Blind Al actress Leslie Uggams is coming back for third Deadpool movie.
Leslie Uggams had small roles in both Deadpool and Deadpool 2, where she helped turn Wade’s roommate into a fan-favorite character.
If Reynolds is ready to confirm Blind Al’s return, there is a chance more returning cast members are announced soon.

Recently, leading actor and producer Ryan Reynolds shared an update regarding the future film. The Merc With The Mouth himself announced how Marvel Studios’ Deadpool 3 has found a director! Shawn Levy will reteam with Ryan Reynolds again after Free Guy by working as the director of the third installment of Deadpool.
Due to Marvel’s well-known security protocols regarding future projects, Reynolds couldn’t really comment on the story’s progression but did share that the movie is still a go. Kevin Feige did confirm the movie will have an R rating and allow Ryan to play Wade Wilson again.
