Richard E. Grant Has Been Cast in Marvel’s ‘Loki’ Coming to Disney+ in Early 2021

Richard E. Grant Has Been Cast in Marvel’s ‘Loki‘ Coming to Disney+ in Early 2021. The cast of Marvel Studios Loki continues to grow! Actor Richard E. Grant has been cast in a mysterious role for the new Marvel series and fans are buzzing over the news.

It is currently unknown who Grant will be playing in the show but we do know there have been rumors that the time traveling villain, Kang the Conqueror will appear within the series. Could Richard E. Grant be portraying the new villain in Loki and be moving into a bigger role in the MCU? We hope so!

Another broader possibility is a tie-in with the X-Men. “What? How?” You may be asking, well turns out Richard E Grant played the role of Dr. Rice in Logan and may be a bridge between the franchises. The likelihood is slim, BUT there is always a chance.

If we are casting votes, my bet is Grant will be announced as Kang the Conqueror as we prepare to explore time travel and other timelines in the MCU. The storyline perfectly matches up with where the MCU is headed and Kang is a great villain to explore. I can’t wait to see our heroes face a villain who is just beyond their reach at all times… Get it?

“In Marvel Studios’ “Loki,” the mercurial villain Loki (Tom Hiddleston) resumes his role as the God of Mischief in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” Kate Herron directs and Michael Waldron is head writer. Debuts on Disney+ next year, Spring 2021.”

Are you excited for the new Loki series? What role do you think Richard E. Grant will play in the series? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co for all things Marvel and Disney+!
