Rian Johnson’s Star Wars Trilogy Confirmed to be in Development at Lucasfilm. Recently filmmaker Rian Johnson spoke with Best Selling Author Sariah Wilson about his journey making Star Wars: The Last Jedi and his upcoming Star Wars trilogy.

Sariah teased some of their conversation with fans on twitter, and confirmed that Johnson’s Star Wars trilogy has the green light, but is still in the works due to several other projects Rian is currently working on.

Wilson shared in her post: “I’m just going to post this now because I can see that I’m going to get a lot of requests – Yes, Rian’s SW trilogy is still on. No dates or timelines because he has other projects going on, but it is happening. THAT IS ALL I KNOW ABOUT IT.

It is currently unknown what stories will be featured in the new trilogy, and Rian Johnson hasn’t been keen to share the timeline, but we are excited to hear that more Star Wars films are on the way!
