Marrakesh Restaurant in EPCOT’s Morocco Pavilion Transforms into Exclusive Passholder Lounge Once Again
For Walt Disney World Annual Passholders, the vibrant flavors and intricate architecture of the Morocco Pavilion in EPCOT have gained an extra layer of allure. Restaurant Marrakesh, a location that has remained largely dormant for the past five years, has once again opened its doors as a dedicated Passholder lounge. This exciting development echoes last year’s popular V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days, offering a welcome respite and exclusive perks for loyal passholders.

Operating daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., the lounge provides a unique haven for Passholders to unwind and recharge during their EPCOT adventures. Depending on the day’s crowds, a virtual queue system may be in place to ensure a comfortable experience for all guests. To gain entry, Passholders simply need to present their valid Annual Pass and a matching photo ID.

Upon checking in, Passholders receive a special memento: an exclusive Passholder button. This year’s design features a sleek black background with “Walt Disney World annual passholder” emblazoned in striking white and yellow lettering, accompanied by a distinctive yellow flag.

Inside the transformed restaurant, Passholders can indulge in complimentary refreshments. The aromatic Moroccan Mint Tea offers a taste of the pavilion’s rich culture, while Stacy’s Pita Chips seasoned with parmesan, garlic, and herbs, along with a refreshing trEAT4u fruit bowl mix, provide satisfying snacks.

While last year’s lounge featured a delightful Genie meet and greet, this year offers a unique photo opportunity. Guests can pose with a golden Genie’s lamp against an authentic Moroccan backdrop, creating a memorable souvenir of their visit.

Understanding the needs of today’s park-goers, the lounge also provides a convenient charging station. Ten lockers, each equipped with three different types of charging cords, are available for Passholders to power up their devices. Clear instructions are provided atop the station for ease of use.

Comfort and relaxation are key elements of the lounge experience. An abundance of chairs, tables, and plush ottomans are thoughtfully arranged throughout the space, inviting Passholders to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the park. Subtle Passholder lounge signage adorns the walls, reinforcing the exclusive nature of this temporary offering.
The return of the Passholder lounge to Restaurant Marrakesh is sure to be a welcome addition for Annual Passholders visiting EPCOT. It offers a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the ambiance of the Morocco Pavilion while enjoying complimentary treats and convenient amenities. This limited-time offering is another way Walt Disney World is showing appreciation for its loyal Passholder community.
