Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge Reopens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios After Refurbishment
The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge is back open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios following a refurbishment that began in June, and the refreshed patio now comes with a little more comfort built in. The biggest change is a large new awning extending from the building, giving guests permanent shade and shelter where umbrellas previously did most of the work.

The covered area also includes hanging lights and ceiling fans, which should make lingering over a cocktail or Cobb Salad a bit more comfortable during those hot Florida afternoons. The pavement throughout the lounge area has also been redone, while the familiar tables and chairs have returned with refreshed red upholstery.
Along the perimeter, concrete columns now serve as bases for updated lampposts, replacing the older fixtures that extended alongside the black railings. The awning supports have also been painted black and new gutters have been installed, giving the outdoor space a more finished look. The lounge had remained open during construction in a temporary outdoor setup around the corner, but guests can once again enjoy its permanent location outside The Hollywood Brown Derby.
