Actor Ray Stevenson is joining the action in a galaxy far, far away! He’s going to play a villain character in the ”Ashoka” Star Wars series on Disney+.
No official word yet on who he is playing, but it has been confirmed to be someone else instead of the highly anticipated Admiral Thrawn.
The series centers on fan-favorite character Ahsoka Tano, a Jedi Knight survivor popular on the animation side of Star Wars who made her live-action debut in the second season of The Mandalorian and appeared in an episode of The Book of Boba Fett.
Star Wars fans have plenty to be excited for, but one of the latest castings has confirmed more Star Wars: Rebels characters will be making their way into the live-action stories! According to Deadline, Lucasfilm and Disney+ have cast Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren in the upcoming live-action Star Wars Disney+ series, Ahsoka.
Rosario Dawson will be reprising her role as Ahsoka Tano for the series and will follow the Grey Jedi Master after the events of Season 2 of The Mandalorian. Reportedly, the story will follow Ahsoka on her mission to find Ezra Bridger who disappeared after the event of the animated Rebels series. Rumors seem to indicate Mena Massoud (Aladdin 2019) may have secretly been cast as Ezra Bridger for the series. Lucasfilm has yet to confirm the castings, but Star Wars fans are excited none-the-less!
