Rosario Dawson of Star Wars: Ahsoka Pays Tribute to the Late Ray Stevenson

Rosario Dawson, star of the upcoming series Ahsoka, paid tribute to Ray Stevenson yesterday. Stevenson passed away at the age of 58. He is known for his work in the Thor franchise and other blockbusters like the Book of Eli and HBO’s Rome. Stevenson will play a part in the upcoming Ahsoka series when it airs later this summer as “Baylan Skoll.”

Like countless others, Dawson was not only a colleague of Stevenson’s but also an admirer of his work. She took to Twitter to share her experience working with Stevenson while reflecting on the fragility of life. In the post, Dawson shared, “Sharing in grief with you all. What a Ray of light. Been calling cast/crew & the rest of my family to say how much I love them. Let this be your reminder to love on your people’s in real time while you can. Ray was so vivacious & unbelievably present & vibrant. He truly lived!!!”

Ray Stevenson is a highly versatile and accomplished actor known for his impressive range and captivating on-screen presence. Born on May 25, 1964, in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, Stevenson developed a passion for acting at an early age.
