We told you not too long ago about a really cool addition coming to Disney Springs and Downtown Disney District to celebrate the release of “Wreck It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet.” If you’re unfamiliar, ILMxLAB and the VOID teamed up to bring us a spectacular, real-life, VR experience called “Ralph Breaks VR.” It has finally opened, and we were able to get an inside look. Featuring cutting-edge technology, a complete new worlds, and your favorite characters, it definitely doesn’t disappoint.
This one-of-a-kind, multi-sensory experience is like no other. Walt Disney Animation knocked this one out of the proverbial park so it seems. Teams of four gather with Ralph and Venellope Von Schweetz and literally break into the internet as guests walk around the attraction using VR gear. Disguised as “Netizens,” guests can expect to encounter stunning hyper-realistic worlds and characters…to include a brand-new antagonist named B.E.V (Built to Eradicate Viruses).
It’s really something to behold and a great addition for anyone visiting Disney Springs and Downtown Disney. New worlds like Thunderdome and Pancake Milkshake Diner will really impress and leave you amazed at Disney’s ability to continue to grow and expand on their immersive experiences.
