You know it’s fall when pumpkin spice is EVERYWHERE! Well, there is no question fall is in full force at Walt Disney World since pumpkin spice delights have been popping up throughout the parks and resorts for the past several weeks. With plenty of fall left and Halloween right around the corner, we are sure there are lots more pumpkin spice treats to come! In our latest trip over to the Yacht and Beach Clubs, we were in pursuit of some new Halloween themed desserts. We picked up this Pumpkin Whoopie Pie at Disney’s Beach Club and it gave us all of the fall and Halloween feels! You can pick one up at The Market at Ale & Compass and the Beach Club Marketplace for $4.69 plus tax.
If you are one of those people who starts getting excited about pumpkin spice flavors while you are still in the middle of summer, this is your dessert! Two dense and moist Mickey-shaped pumpkin cakes sandwich a generous heap of brown butter cream cheese frosting. To add a little bit more fall flare and extra sweetness, the edges of the whoopie pie are rolled in fall-colored sprinkles. On a separate trip, we tracked down the Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream Mac-Tini and couldn’t help thinking that together they would make the perfect pumpkin pairing. If you think that is pumpkin spice overload, you will be perfectly satisfied with just the whoopie pie!
The true dessert lover can easily tackle one of these whoopie pies alone, but it is rich and dense so the commitment will have to be strong.
