Let’s Have Some Skele-Fun with This Spooky Tiramisu!

In our most recent journey over to the Yacht and Beach Clubs, we were determined to uncover the newest and most fun Halloween treats they had to offer. Along with a Spooktacular Halloween Mickey Cupcake and a super yummy Pumpkin Whoopie Pie, we couldn’t resist this bone-chilling tiramisu! Halloween at Disney is a very exciting time, so how could we possibly pass this one up?? We found this clever treat at The Market at Ale & Compass and Beach Club Marketplace for $5.49 plus tax.

Tiramisu is a tricky one to pull off with coffee as a potentially overpowering flavor in the recipe. Sweet cream, delicate ladyfingers, and a little bit of cocoa play roles as well in a careful balance of flavors. We have had our fair share of tiramisu where coffee punches way too hard and dominates the dessert. We have experienced the complete opposite too! However, we are quite pleased with the presentation of flavors in this Halloween tiramisu. The coffee flavor deffinately comes through, but it doesn’t mask the creaminess and sweetness of the other ingredients. Overall it is a winning tiramisu in our book!

Of course, we are particularly impressed with the skeleton-strewn graveyard scene that adornes the top! White chocolate covered pretzels represent the bones with a chocolate-decorated marshmallow as the skull. In true Disney fashion, a ladyfinger with “RIP” written in chocolate is the tombstone adding a spooky (and tasty) affect. It reminds us of a scene right out of The Haunted Mansion!

The whole family can have some skele-fun with this well made and well-decorated treat! Will you add it to your list of must-have Halloween desserts?
