Pressed Penny Machines Removed from Old Splash Mountain Area in the Magic Kingdom
The last of the Splash Mountain pressed penny machines has been removed from Magic Kingdom.

The final Splash Mountain pressed penny machine has been removed from the area near the attraction. Previously, there were two penny machines but one was removed in March. The remaining machine was moved from inside Splashdown Photos to near the restrooms behind the Frontierland train station.
The last machine offered two Splash Mountain designs and one 50th anniversary design. Mickey & friends were featured on one of the Splash Mountain designs while the other showed Br’er Bear, Br’er Rabbit, and Br’er Fox.
The ride is currently under construction as it transforms into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The new ride is set to open in late 2024.

Disney Imagineers installed the stunning Tiara-Topped Water Tower at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in the Magic Kingdom.
