The first Orlando based Portillo’s located in The Village at O-Town West in Lake Buena Vista will be opening soon, just minutes from Walt Disney World! The grand opening is June 15th, but we were fortunate enough to visit during a soft opening to experience it for ourselves.

First, the interior aesthetic is quite fun with the 60’s Rock & Roll theme inside the restaurant. A common trend of Portillo’s is to make an inviting experience for everyone with the food and decor.
Even the giant electric guitar on the ceiling made it fun!
Portillo’s is quite popular among those in Chicago and it has a history of great food. Many came to try the food!

Now on to the food! Below are some of the fantastic food items we recommend!
The Chicago Style Hot Dog is an absolute must! It’s fully loaded with mustard, relish, chopped onions, sports peppers, and a pickle on a poppy seed bun. The other menu you need to try is another Chicago classic…
The Italian Beef is a real treat for meat lovers! We enjoy adding giardiniera and peppers to our sandwich.

You can find other options on the menu such as hamburgers, Polish sausage, chicken sandwiches, fries, and onion rings. All of them are fantastic!
Lastly, we hope you save room for desert! The Chocolate Cake and milkshakes are delightful.
