Pop Icons Rock the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival

Live sounds of pop, rock, soul and funk will fill the night when top musical acts perform their greatest hits during the the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival Sept. 28-Nov. 12,  2012 at Walt Disney World Resort.

Four new Eat to the Beat! acts -Smash Mouth, “The Voice” winner Javier Colon, Blues Traveler and Dennis DeYoung, original member of STYX — and 14 returning bands take their turn on the America Gardens Theatre stage during concerts at 5:15, 6:30 and 7:45 p.m. daily.  The lineup (subject to change and included in Epcot admission) includes:

Oct. 4-7                STARSHIP starring Mickey Thomas “We Built This City”

Oct. 13-14            NEW! Javier Colon, winner of “The Voice” “A Drop in the Ocean”

Oct. 15-17            Air Supply “Lost in Love”

Oct. 20-21            Survivor “Eye of the Tiger”

Oct. 22-23            Hanson “Give a Little”

Oct. 24-25            The Pointer Sisters “He’s So Shy”

Oct. 26-28            Sister Hazel “All for You”

Oct. 29-31            Billy Ocean “Caribbean Queen”

Nov. 1-2               38 Special “Hold on Loosely”

Nov. 3-4               Howard Jones LIVE “No One Is to Blame”

Guests nibbling and sipping their way around the World Showcase can see performers from many countries weave music, dance, acrobatics, comedy and other acts into the festivities.  A sampling of World Showcase entertainment includes:

  • Perfect harmony of Voices of Liberty (American Adventure rotunda)

  • Jaw-dropping stunts by The Jeweled Dragon Acrobats (China)
  • Hilarious antics of World Showcase Players (United Kingdom)
