Be Our Guest

Be Our Guest is the newest restaurant to hit Magic Kingdom as part of the Fantasyland expansion.  Themed after the Disney blockbuster, Beauty and the Beast, guests can choose two different dining experiences here.  Be Our Guest is counter service style for lunch, and table service style for dinner.  The decor and theming couldn’t be more magical!  Stately floor to ceiling windows, fine china to dine on, and occasional appearance by Belle and Beast make this a dining experience you won’t soon forget.

  • Lunch is counter service, although your menu selections are very stately and royal!  You won’t find the “typical” counter service menu here-unless you consider seared tuna and Croque Monsieur to by typical lunch fare.
  • This restaurant is VERY popular.  You’ll want to get in line early {like around 10:30} to get lunch.  For dinner, be sure to make a reservation as soon as possible.
  • This is NOT a character dining experience.  However, Belle and Beast have been known to make an appearance for a twirl around the dance floor.
  • Be Our Guest seats over 500 guests.  However, at this time, you are not able to request a particular room to dine in.

Be Our Guest, for lunch or dinner, will add a magical touch to your Disney trip.  It really is unlike any other dining location on Disney property-decor, theming, and menu wise.  You can view their full menu HERE.

Overall, we give Be Our Guest an “A”.

  1. I ate here for dinner this past July. I really enjoyed the atmosphere but the food not so much. I had the steak, green beans and potatoes. I felt like the meat was tough, green beans under cooked and the portions were small. We sat in the main ballroom and did venture to the other 2 rooms and bathroom and the imagineering that went on in this restaurant cannot beat. Also meeting the Beast was a treat. It was my birthday and I was wearing a button and I did not get to try the grey stuff. My waitress was not very enthusiastic so I let that go. I did enjoy my lemon cupcake. My daughter had the strawberry cupcake and enjoyed hers as well. Next time I will try for a lunch fast pass when and if I can.

  2. Couldn’t get dinner, so we went for lunch because we liked the menu. The food was fantastic! Lots of flavor, fast service, just the right temp for the food and atmosphere. Line gets long very early, but I like how in the summer they have umbrellas they pass out and some water to drink. It is so beautiful in there!!! I felt like I was in the movie!! All the little touches made it magical!!

  3. I just love this restaurant. The 1st time we got to go it was about 6-8 days after opening. Talk about magical to be there so early on. Then on our last trip July 2013 we went 2 times. That’s how much we love it!!!!

  4. We’re planning on having lunch here in September. I’ve heard good things about it so I’m really excited!

  5. We had dinner here last month. It was awesome. We were in the West Wing–the kids loved watching for the portrait changes. The food was great. I’ve added this one to our “do it again” list!!

  6. I ate here last november for my birthday (it only took 80 minutes and 138 calls to get reservations haha) and it was one of the most magical nights of my life! everything was amazing from the second we checked in until the time we left. I felt like such a princess!

  7. This was our favorite meal this last trip in April. My husband said that we must try to do it again next time.

  8. Had to wait a while to get in for lunch but loved it so much we came back and stood in line again three days later!

  9. I am really looking forward to eating at Be Our Guest on my next Disney trip in August!
