
Pirate Themed Rooms at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort to be discontinued
The pirate themed rooms at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort are being discontinued. There is no exact date for when this will happen but the rooms are not available to book for 2023 stays.

So, why are these swashbuckling rooms be discontinued? Speculation is the beds. While they look super cool being pirate ship beds, they are very uncomfortable. They are also full size beds which are not great for adults.

The pirate themed rooms are also usually the last rooms to fill up at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. Most guests prefer the regular rooms to the pirate rooms.

While the pirate theme was well done and fit nicely at the resort, I don’t think many will be sad to see them go. You can see our walkthrough of the pirate themed room below:

Stayed there a couple years ago, my adult daughter and I cause nothing else available last minute. Was comfortable but almost the last buildings from the food court and gift shop. But they were just starting the skyway transportation, so thought that might keep a little interest for families with little pirates would still enjoy the theme! It wasn’t the worst rooms we’ve stayed in!
