We recently stopped by Tamu Tamu Treats at Disney’s Animal Kingdom to give this new tropical dessert a try. Right off the bat, the Pineapple Crisp Sundae reminds us of a classic, warm fruit crumble cake topped with a perfect scoop of vanilla ice cream.
While it’s a delicious addition to the park, we can’t help but wish it featured pineapple DOLE Whip® instead of traditional vanilla ice cream to really punch up that vibrant, tropical flavor profile. That being said, if you are a fan of warm apple pie, fruit cobblers, or any classic dessert served à la mode, you are absolutely going to love this cozy, comforting treat!
