Is it possible to one day see a Disneyland Australia?

A passionate Disney Parks fan in Australia is making a case for the creation of a new theme park location. They contend that it would benefit both Australian Disney fans and promote international tourism.

You can sign the petition here. The mission statement for the petition is clearly stated about how a Disneyland Australia is ideal for their continent.

They think Australia just simply doesn’t have the population to support a Disney Park and tourism market wouldn’t doenough to fill in the gaps…

I beg to differ.. I believe Australia HAS the population, not to mention the international tourism it would create as well, and the tourism market to make it just as successful as other Disneyland’s around the world.

Of course, we do have a few Australia references in Disney-Pixar. Films such as Finding Nemo and Rescuers Down Under gave attention to the natural landscapes of Australia. Australia offers unique tourism opportunities, so adding a Disney theme park would help further diversify attractions to see.

Would you want to see a Disneyland Australia? What country do you think would be best suited for a future Disney theme park?

  1. Yes we need one. Disney is the best and a theme park would be just what our country needs. Somewhere fun and enjoyable for the young and old to go that they will love. If Disney did open in Australia it would enhance their company greater.

  2. Yes my family would love a Disneyland here in Australia. We love everything about Disney. Our holiday to DisneyWorld was our best holiday ever. If we had one in our own country we would be frequent visitors.

  3. I think it’s a great idea for everyone, who were young and old to have jobs and it will be a big dream for everyone to be happy. Cos everyone in Australia love Disney, Marvel and Star Wars and they always have a lot of big dreams!?????????⭐️⭐️⭐️

  4. Australians would love a Disney Park, I still miss The Disney store. Disney cruises could also include Australia. If we can’t have a Park maybe a Resort like Aulani in Hawaii

  5. There is a ready made place for an Australian Disneyland it was even modelled on it when it was built and has had major issues over the past 5 years. As much as I’d love it in Melbourne I think the Dreamworld site is the perfect choice.

  6. ❤️?? °o° OH HELL YES!!!!! ??? I had a holiday booked in October & a Disney Cruise but now both sadly cancelled, as we all know due to COVID. It costs sooooo much for us Aussies to travel to the USA. ?? We always hear there MIGHT be a DISNEY Park in Australia but it has always been talk or fake news, so this would be FABULOUS news if it was real. Also think of DISNEY ? CRUISES too for us Aussies. I really enjoyed my Disney cruise to the Bahamas in 2015. I loved it! It would help generate new jobs for Australia ?? plus help our economy greatly. ??? SYDNEY would be a great place for the park.
