Patrick Stewart Reacts to the ‘Doctor Strange 2’ Expanded Trailer and Potential Return as Professor X!

Marvel Fans are gearing up for the premiere ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ this May and after the debut of the expanded trailer during Super Bowl LVI, fans are analyzing the new footage and poster for the upcoming Marvel film. One of the notable voices featured in the trailer seems to be that of Sir Patrick Stewart as Professor X, though the identity of the figure remained in shadow during the footage of the trailer and remains unconfirmed by Marvel.

During an interview with ComicBook, Patrick shared a vague comment about impressionists, teasing fans by sharing, “You know, people have been imitating my voice ever since I came on the stage 60 years ago. So, I can’t be held responsible for that.”

Patrick further teased fans by sharing with Kevin McCarthy, “I don’t look at a lot of social media and that’s mostly a time issue, but I must say, before bedtime on Sunday evening I had plenty of communications, friends and some people I hardly knew at all making reference to ‘ah! Is that you?.’ Well, of course, you know I was just at home waiting to watch football so how could it have possibly been me? We’ll have to wait and see.”

Reports from scoopers and personnel on set claim that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will feature significant cameos and “variants” as featured in the ‘Loki’ Disney+ series.
