Paris Jackson Shares She Wants to Join the MCU as a Hero or a Villain

As the daughter of the late Michael Jackson, Paris Jackson is no stranger to fame and has begun to launch her own career in film and television. Currently, the 23-year old actress is starring in the Hulu series Sex Appeal and has previously worked on titles such as American Horror Stories, Star, and Scream: The TV Series. Recently Paris has shared she is heavily interested in joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and would be happy to play a hero OR a villain for the studio.

Jackson shared with Variety, “I want to be a superhero or a supervillain. I grew up reading the comics with my brothers. Every time a new Marvel film comes out, we go as a family to watch it. … They haven’t let anyone down since 2009.” Paris also shared that her favorite characters are Iron Man, Wolverine, and Deadpool. “They do what’s right, but they don’t do it by the book,” Jackson says. “And they have a snarkiness to them, which I love.”

Paris was also asked why she would choose Marvel over DC when it comes to the films and she clarified it’s more to do with her familiarity with the comics and characters, telling Variety, “I don’t think it’s either one or the other. I just think that they’re different. I don’t think one is like necessarily better than the other. Marvel is what I grew up on. It’s like comparing the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. They’re very different.”

Sex Appeal — Avery Hansen-White doesn’t do things she isn’t excellent at. So when her long-distance boyfriend hints at wanting to take their relationship to the next level, she sets out to master her sexuality, employing her oldest friend, Larson, as a test subject. In this hilarious teen comedy, Avery’s study results in the realization that there’s more to sex, and love, than mechanics. Relationships require both head and heart. Danica (Paris Jackson), shown.
