We spent the morning at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and then moved on to Disney Springs in the early afternoon, where we stopped at The Ganachery to check out some of the chocolate creations being offered the whole month of May.

Carrie Fisher was honored by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, Mark Hamill, her daughter, Billie Lourd, and many fans around the globe as she was awarded a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today, May the 4th — a.k.a, Star Wars Day.
Fisher’s star was unveiled near the historic El Capitan Theatre, 6840 Hollywood Boulevard.

D’ART Shtajio’s short was created in collaboration with Lucasfilm Ltd. (United States).
Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures – Premiere – Episodes 1 – 7 Streaming Set 200 years before “The Phantom Menace,” during the High Republic era, “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” follows Jedi younglings Kai, Lys, & Nubs as they are sent by Master Yoda to train at a Jedi temple on the beautiful world of Tenoo under the tutelage of Master Zia. Together, they blast off on adventures across Tenoo and throughout the galaxy aboard the Crimson Firehawk with ace pilot Nash and her droid, RJ-83! Working as a cast member at Walt Disney World is a dream come true for many Disney enthusiasts. Cast members receive some great perks, including complimentary theme park admission and discounts at select hotels, dining, merchandise, and recreation locations. The dining perks are being improved for the next few months, as cast members are being afforded an additional dining discount at several locations through September of this year.
At Hollywood Studios, Cast Members will receive a 20% discount at Backlot Express and PizzeRizzo.
A 40% discount is being offered at a variety of locations located at Disney Resort Hotels: Ale and Compass (Yacht Club), Whispering Canyon Café (Wilderness Lodge), Olivia’s Café (Old Key West), Toledo (Coronado Springs), Boatwright’s Dining Hall (Port Orleans), and The Turf Club (Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa).

Annual Passholders have noted a fun surprise when checking the Park Pass Reservation Calendar: additional Bonus Park Pass Reservations have been added!
While the requirements for Park Pass reservations for Annual Passholders have been relaxed, Annual Passolders still need a Park Pass Reservation to enter a park prior to 2 PM Monday-Friday (plus Saturday and Sunday for Magic Kingdom only). Annual Passholders have a limit on the number of Park Pass Reservations they can have at one time, with the max ranging from 3 at a time for the Pixie Dust Pass to 5 at a time for the Incredi-Pass. Bonus Park Pass Reservations do not count toward this Park Pass count.
Bonus Park Pass Reservations are denoted on the calendar with a star. Annual Passholders were already afforded Bonus Park Pass Reservations on the weekends in May, and Tuesdays and Wednesdays have just been added! Parks included in the bonus reservations vary by date and may include EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, and/or Hollywood Studios.

Deadpool is getting the X-Force band back together, and Rob Delaney is in
Buckle up Deadpool fans: X-Force is back! Deadline is reporting Rob Delaney is returning to play Peter, the X-Force member who lacks any discernable power (other than the ability to pull off Kahkis and dad jokes) for Deadpool 3.
Delaney’s portrayal of Peter, an ordinary guy who responded to Deadpool’s recruitment call for the X-Force team despite lacking any superhuman abilities or exceptional skills, quickly became a favorite among fans. The mustache-laden dad vibe that Peter brought to the team provided some great contrast to the colorful chaos that defines the Deadpool universe.
Deadpool fans will recall Peter, along with most of the rest of the X-Force team, dying early in Deadpool 2 while attempting their first mission. As Deadpool cleans up the timeline at the end of the film, X-Force is saved from their fate thus allowing the characters to return for the 3rd film.
While the exact details of Peter’s role in the film remain under wraps, the casting of Delaney suggests that Deadpool 3 will feature X-Force in a major way. Delaney joins a packed cast that includes Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Morena Baccarin (Vanessa), Karan Soni (Dopinder), Leslie Uggams (Blind Al), Stefan Kapicic (Colossus), and T.J. Miller (Weasel). Deadpool 3 will be the first film produced under Marvel Studios, with the first two produced by Fox prior to the Disney/Fox merger.
Deadpool 3 is slated to release in theaters on November 8, 2024.
